Much of my work tends to be in the Business-to-Business space, so the final produced videos are very specific to an industry target audience and not very meaningful to everyone else. Sure they look good but if you don’t work in the coatings industry? You’re just watching paint dry.
That’s why it was fun to shoot on this project: A Kickstarter Video for a consumer product. War Pong is an upscale Beer Pong game. General audiences get it.
So while 80% of my business is deep in the B2B world, the 20% where I get to direct TV commercials, Kickstarters, or Music Videos keeps me excited to make stuff friends and family might want to watch.
