I consider myself incredibly lucky to make a living fiddling with lights and cameras every day. I work hard for my clients. But also, I’m barely working compared to some of the people I meet in my travels who actually work up a sweat.

That being said, sometimes, you need to switch gears and work on something different to keep your problem solving skills sharp and stoke the creative fire inside you. I do that by making silly, no budget, nonsense movies with my friends.

This time around, the team was lucky enough to win a few awards. What does it mean to be an award winning filmmaker? Not a damned thing, if I’m one. But it was a fun way to spend a weekend figuring out what we could do to stretch our limited time and empty pockets as far as possible.
