IBEW Electricians installing LED Lights at the Judson Center.

I’ve been busy this week working on a project for a new client, JMC Electric. They’re an IBEW electrical contractor that does not just the usual high voltage work you’re used to, but a lot of low voltage, Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) work.

There’s a ton of cool devices that can be powered and controlled over an ethernet cable.

Students and IBEW Electricians volunteering in the classroom.

So why am I working on Saturday? Well, JMC was graciously installing LED light fixtures in a classroom at The Judson Center for students with autism. These blue LED lights help the kids to relax.

That’s the kind of project that will get me out of bed on a Saturday. Doing a good thing for the right reasons.

Before they got new LEDs, they were gelling fluorescent fixtures with blue paper.
